Common questions
Is this conference prep sheet free with no account needed?
Yes. The download button above links straight to the PDF — no email, no account, no editor session. Print one per conference and fill it in by hand.
How many conferences does one printable cover?
One PDF is a single blank template — print one fresh copy per student conference. It is not pre-filled or student-specific; you complete the snapshot, strengths, and growth areas from your own gradebook before each meeting.
Can I edit the sections before printing?
The PDF itself is not an editable form field. The layout is intentionally general-purpose so it works for any grade level and any conference format — most teachers fill it in by hand or leave sections blank if they do not apply.
What if I run out of time to cover the action items section?
Prioritize it over adding more content elsewhere — the action items table (who does what by when) is the section most likely to be forgotten in a rushed conference, and it is the part parents remember. If time is short, cut the questions-to-ask list before cutting action items.
